The Museum MATER Ecoactive Museum Boat is a classic Cantabrian tuna boat, built in wood in the traditional way that after its fishing trip, was saved from scrapping by the association Itsas Gela to turn it into a floating museum on artisanal fishing and the importance of preserving the marine environment.
This unique museum is based in Pasaia, Gipuzkoa, from where it develops trips along the coast and offers a wide range of activities around the culture and the marine environment that make the MATER Ecoactive Museum Boat an authentic living maritime heritage.
