Tour: Oiartzun Bells

A guided tour and live demonstration will introduce visitors to the intangible heritage of Oiartzun’s bells. Participants will have the opportunity to hear the bell melodies that have been manually preserved since 1706 and learn about the unique ringing technique performed with three bells.

The visit will also explore the history of this tradition, explaining how the knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation through oral transmission and hands-on practice. Visitors will be able to explore the bell tower, view the panel displaying the names of the bells, and discover the distinctive bell melodies that form an important part of Oiartzun’s cultural heritage.
